We constantly monitor the top trending queries (as reported by Google) to ensure we have the best answers to your questions and the most comprehensive health information out there. So what are people searching for the most? In 2019, interest in measles has shot up 700%, making it the top searched-for health term. There have been more than 1,240 cases of measles in the U.S. this year, the highest number reported since 1992. Rounding out the top 5: the contagious and painful skin rash shingles; thyroid problems ; the recall of losartan , one of many blood pressure medications that contained potentially cancer-causing impurities; and the common viral infection adenovirus. | | | | | |
