Sync for Genes Phase 2 - Call for Pilots
As part of the work to advance the All of Us Research Program, academic medical centers, group practice centers, and ambulatory hospitals have the opportunity to participate in Sync for Genes Phase 2. In this phase of the program, we will test real-world use cases using the Health Level 7 (HL7®) Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR®) Genomics Implementation Guidance. Complete the Pilot Profile and email your submission to Mr. Apurva Dharia by Monday, December 18, 2017. Participants will be notified of their selection in January 2018.

Interoperability Proving Ground (IPG) Spotlight
Check out the first Interoperability Proving Ground (IPG) Spotlight, Pharm2Pharm. This is a collaborative model between hospital and community pharmacists to help patients transition to their homes after being discharged from the hospital.

We are also spotlighting the Connectivity Improves Quality Metrics for Annual Diabetic Eye Exams. This project helps meet electronic quality metrics by connecting the optical community with interoperable solutions while moving the optical community away from faxing as they make the transition to value-based care.  Interested in having your interoperability project featured? Simply submit a new project at the IPG or update the status of a project that had been posted within the last 90 days. Once a project is submitted or updated, projects will automatically be added to the feature queue to be randomly selected as the next featured project. Learn more about the Interoperability Proving Ground (IPG) Spotlight.
