NIAID Scientists Advance Understanding of Broadly Protective Flu Vaccines

NIAID Vaccine Research Center scientists designed a ferritin nanoparticle flu vaccine and tested it in people with and without experience of the 1957 pandemic flu virus. The vaccine was safe and prompted immune responses in both older and younger trial participants.
