Soldiers can't avoid stress, but researchers at the Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center, or NSRDEC, are leading a study to investigate ways to help Soldiers increase their cognitive resilience under stress.

I was leaving work one evening and it was already dark outside by the time I reached my car. As I started the engine for my commute home, all of the dashboard lights lit up like a Christmas tree. The lights inside and outside the car began to flicker on and off while making a weird clicking noise. The engine completely shut down, but the lights continued to act like they were being possessed by some uncontrollable electronic force. It didn't help the situation that I had just watched the movie Paranormal Activity the night before and I was all alone in the parking lot.
