The National Rx Drug Abuse Summit is the largest national collaboration of professionals from local, state, and federal agencies, businesses, and academia, clinicians, treatment providers, counselors, educators, state and national leaders, and advocates affected by prescription drug abuse.

Participate in a collaborative environment and up-to-date data-driven discussions for professionals in the public health and public safety fields. Sessions are organized into eight educational tracks tailored to provide stakeholders timely and relevant information for their particular field:

  • Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs

  • Treatment

SAMHSA will moderate and present two vision sessions during the summit:

  • Moderator: Frances M. Harding, SAMHSA/ Center for Substance Abuse Prevention
  • Presenters: Kimberly Jeffries Leonard, Ph.D., SAMHSA Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT), and Tom Coderre, SAMHSA CSAT

SAMHSA's Approach to Addressing Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome

  • Moderator: Jinhee Lee, Pharm.D., SAMHSA CSAT
  • Presenters: Melinda Campopiano, M.D., SAMHSA CSAT
