February 11, 2015 Funding Opportunity: NCOA Seeking Proposals for the Senior SNAP Erollment Initiative The National Council on Aging (NCOA) is currently seeking proposals from nonprofit or public agencies for the Senior SNAP Enrollment Initiative, a national program to fight senior hunger by increasing the enrollment of older adults (age 60+) in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Through this initiative, NCOA will award up to $1,150,000 total in grants to community-based organizations and agencies to assist older adults in the SNAP application and enrollment process.
