Funding Opportunity: NCOA Seeking Proposals for the Senior SNAP Erollment Initiative

The National Council on Aging (NCOA) is currently seeking proposals from nonprofit or public agencies for the Senior SNAP Enrollment Initiative, a national program to fight senior hunger by increasing the enrollment of older adults (age 60+) in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Through this initiative, NCOA will award up to $1,150,000 total in grants to community-based organizations and agencies to assist older adults in the SNAP application and enrollment process. For more details on the Senior SNAP Enrollment Initiative and to submit a proposal, please visit www.ncoa.org/SNAPgrant. Letters of Intent are due by February 13, 2015, and the deadline for full proposals is March 6, 2015.

Please contact hungerinitiatives@ncoa.org if you have any questions.
